The pictures below were taken during my latest trip to Maica(flodplain east of Santarem) Belterra and Alter do chao. Lots of water birds were observed and we also saw three sloths. When we left Belterra we hiked a bit on a patch of forest where we saw lots of different species of butterflies. As we drove back to Santarem we took a glimpse at Alter do chao.
