Study abroad trip
"Sustainable Development in Amazonia" is a three-week course on the history, cultures, and ecosystems of Amazonia, taught by Dr. Jeremy Campbell of Roger Williams University. Students will be based in Santarém, where they will be volunteers on an urban stream restoration project in addition to taking classes at a local university. Also, the group will travel throughout the region to explore reforestation projects, the ruins of Fordlândia, the famous "meeting of the waters," and other sites.
