Sungrebe

Hi Gil,

I do lectures on cruise ships and got a photo of a bird out of Manaus that I can't identify. I purchased your wildlife book but the bird doesn't seem to be in the book. It has the head like a bitten but was swimming like a duck. A friend who is an expert birder thought it was a torrent duck. Here is a photo. Do you know what it is?
